What do you get when you mix the world’s greatest lobster cooker, 20,000 pounds of lobster, a sea goddess coronation, a big parade, top notch entertainment, an international crate race, fine art, talented crafts people and vendors, US Navy ship tours, cooking contests, marine tent and MORE?!

The entertainment this year includes Changes in Latitudes, Emerson Drive and Uncle Kracker.

The Big Parade down Rockland’s Main Street, which draws more than 25,000 fans, will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2011. The theme for our 2011 parade is “Lobster-Palooza.” Parade participants are encouraged to show their enthusiasm and excitement and celebrate the lobster during this lobster-extravaganza – Love it! Eat it! Celebrate it!
