New Addition – Lobster, Lobster, Lobster Cooking Class in January!
We have added a cooking class to our Hartstone Inn 2013 Cooking Class Schedule! “Lobster, Lobster, Lobster” class will be offered on January 19th from 1-3pm. Make it a weekend getaway and book our Cooking Class Package which includes two nights lodging, breakfast each morning, a five-course gourmet dinner for two and enrollment for one in a scheduled cooking class. Cooking classes include recipes, hands-on participation, wine to complement the cuisine and lots of food to taste. Enrollment for the the class alone is $45.
Lobster, Lobster, Lobster Cooking Class Details
A trip to Maine should be based around eating as much lobster as one can. This class will help you achieve that goal! Chef Michael will share his techniques for cooking and “breaking down” lobsters, and guide you through four very diverse preparations.
Recipes include:
- Maine Lobster with a Vanilla Beurre Blanc
- Lobster and Gruyere Soufflé with a Grilled Corn Cream
- Maine Lobster and Asparagus Salad with a Tangerine Dressing
- Avocado and Lobster Cakes with a Chive Sour Cream and Roasted Tomato Jus
